18 years.
That’s how long it’s been since I walked the streets of England.
But today, I’m not the same person returning.
And maybe that’s the point.

Right before this trip, I recorded a podcast about wish fulfillment—about those moments when life whispers, “Now.”
Not dramatic. Not loud. Just… sacred.

And that’s the truth:
It’s not the big things that change us.
It’s the little ones.
A plane ticket booked on a feeling.
A memory that stirs your soul.
A conversation that opens your future.

Sometimes, we wait for a sign.
Other times—we realize, this is it.

This moment.
This breath.
This quiet “yes” that changes everything.

[00:00:01] Welcome to your Wish fulfilled. [00:00:06] This is a magical podcast to manifest that which you desire with as much ease and joy as possible. And feel good. [00:00:16] Feel good. Right now I'm recording this audio just before I get on a shuttle to go down to the airport, to go back to, to England. [00:00:29] I left England 18 years ago, 18 years ago. And I haven't been back since. [00:00:36] And since then, my entire life has radically changed. When I was in England last, I was very disturbed. I was living in a house with three other guys without any money. [00:00:50] I felt lost and confused and I really was not sure what the point of my life was. And I was open. I wouldn't say I was suicidal, but I was willing to let go of life because I just didn't see the point of it. [00:01:04] And so one day I had a really, really difficult time and I went to a park in this deep state of despair and I surrendered to higher power, surrendered to the light, and said, I don't know what to do, I don't know what to do. [00:01:25] And I got this energy, this inspiration. Just get up off your feet and get clear about what you want, right? [00:01:39] And now I'm not explaining this as well as I could because I'm a bit tired. I'm about to get on a plane. But that was a really, really dark time for me, lying on that field with no idea how, how I was going to get out of that situation. [00:01:52] I didn't have money, I didn't know what I was doing. I was with people who, who I cared about, but it was just the vibe was off and everything. I just didn't feel like I. I belonged anywhere. [00:02:02] And so I got this. I finally let go and then I got this message. Just get off your knees and Clarif, just get clear on what you want and just hold the power, you know, Use everything you know. [00:02:15] So I ran home and I came up with a vision board. [00:02:22] And I sat in front of that vision board every morning at 4:00 and I imagined being somewhere beautiful, magical place. [00:02:31] And about a month or two months later, I got a message from my friend who said, would you like to come to Hawaii? [00:02:42] Oh, you know, I need help with something, with some design work. And I used to do design work. [00:02:49] And I said, yeah, that sounds great. I was a bit unexpected. And then the next day he sent me a ticket. I wasn't expecting him to send me a ticket. I wasn't planning on leaving, but I got this ticket that was about to depart in 10 days time from when he sent it. So I had 10 days to run down and get a new passport, get a few things ready, and then I planned on going for six weeks and coming back. [00:03:14] And it has been 18 years, 18 years since I returned. And I'm purposely staying in an Airbnb, literally just down the same street. It's probably going to be about one or two minute walk from where I used to live on purpose. And I'm looking forward to walking back down that street because the last time I was there was 18 years ago. And I remember what state I was in when I left. [00:03:40] And here I am 18 years later, going back to the same place. And since then my whole life has completely changed. You know, living in Hawaii and help setting up all these businesses and helping thousands of people all over the world, writing loads of books, making millions of dollars. It's, it's been quite an amazing thing. When I look back on what's happened and I'm most curious actually about how much I've changed since I left and if I have changed in good and bad ways or. And what's different. You know, I'm just curious, like it's when you look at the bigger picture in life and you see it from a larger scale, things sort of make a bit more sense and I'm curious to see and feel what that is. [00:04:28] So I wanted to share that with you because this is a very strange experience, at least for me. [00:04:35] 18 years has passed and I'm going to see some of my old friends, my closest friends, and I'm actually genuinely excited about it. When I first got to Hawaii, I had a series of nightmares that prevented me from going back to England for a very, very, very long time, made me stay. [00:04:53] But I haven't had any nightmares recently and I'm actually excited to go back. So this is going to be fun. [00:05:01] And what I am thinking about, and hopefully this is helpful to you, is that these, on one hand, you have to be a bit radical. Like I literally moved across the country to another part of the world, right where I'd never been before and started from scratch. [00:05:21] And then when I left Hawaii, moved to Sedona, I started from scratch again. So I mean, in retrospect that's kind of extreme thing to do, but at the time it seemed like I was just following the clues. [00:05:36] And it goes to show the power of some decisions that we make. [00:05:43] There are many things we do that don't have that much effect on us. Realistically, the long term consequence isn't that major, but there are some things that have major consequences to our life. [00:05:58] So it's worth thinking about that for yourself. [00:06:01] What do you want and what are the major steps, the irreversible steps that you could take? Or even step one thing, because most the time we take an action, a very powerful action that has all these consequences related to it. [00:06:34] Like, for example, setting up a company or moving across the country or across the world, or breaking a relationship that's not healthy, or creating a new relationship or doing a new practice. [00:06:50] Right? [00:06:52] These decisions, there are some things that radically alter our life and they have other things connected to them which will continue that movement in that direction. [00:07:08] So what is that for you? [00:07:11] You can look back at your life already, like, what have you done in the past that has led to the life you have now? [00:07:20] There's probably just a few major things you decided, and because of those things, you're now living in the result of that today, at the time when we make these decisions, they don't necessarily seem like that big a deal, but there's a sort of inner knowing that something has shifted. [00:07:48] When I've had relationships change or end or start, it's not always this major thing. There's like a moment where you can tell something has gone in a different direction and it's never coming back, or it's going in a new direction for something different, right? There's these little moments, and they have such powerful influences on us for years and years and years to come. [00:08:23] So some of the big things that make a difference are being in a different place, right? If you move somewhere, that changes the game. [00:08:32] But that's not always something most people want to do. Just pick up and leave, you know. [00:08:38] Another thing that has a profound effect is the people you associate with you will be colored by the company of those you keep. [00:08:53] So if you change the sort of people you're spending time with, everything changes. [00:09:14] So that's a major upgrade, right? Removing certain people and adding new people changes the whole direction of your life. [00:09:24] Pre commitments. Pre commitments are things that when you do something today, it has an effect in the future that you can't get out of. [00:09:37] So, for example, I recently started a new part of my business where we are helping spiritually minded creative entrepreneurs and coaches, healers, people doing some sort of spiritual work. They want to help people to upgrade their marketing, their offers, their websites, to actually do their websites for them, set up their funnels, they help with their emails and all this stuff, right? Because this is the thing that seems to hold most people back because they have great ideas, but they can't make any money off of it because they don't know how to set everything up properly. And I've known this is a problem for many, many, many years because I know how hard it was for me when I started out and seeing my students struggle. [00:10:23] And I thought right after enough people asked me how can, can you help me do this? Can you help me do this? What about this? What should I. I thought let's just do it properly. Let's just, just get this over and done with. This is like a major, major need and we have the knowledge and skills and capacity to do it. [00:10:41] So I signed a bunch of people up for this and because of that I now have to deliver on what I've done started. Right? That's. That's pre commitment. [00:10:54] When you commit to something in the future, it changes the direction of your life, right? Another thing I did recently is I joined a group to stay off of any media, right? No, no wasting time at all on any media. [00:11:17] So I committed to the group that I was going to remain completely off any media. [00:11:23] And as a result that I have, right? Because that's a pre commitment and it's group energy field. [00:11:31] Does that make sense? [00:11:34] So if you can make a commitment to some people who you have to show up for in some way, it can change the trajectory of your life. [00:11:50] What promises are you making to yourself and to other people? What habits do you have? [00:12:03] These are very, very deep things because little things that we do, they add up, add up, add up and add up. [00:12:11] For example, I'm very grateful that I have been quite aware of my health because if I hadn't, I'm sure I'd be much more sick right now. I feel very healthy and in excellent health condition, thank goodness. [00:12:25] But if, if I had bad health habits like 20 years ago, that all adds up, right? [00:12:36] So where I am today, health, health wise, physically is a result of something in the past. [00:12:42] I could always do better as well. I could always. [00:12:46] But overall, you know, it makes a big difference. So think about this. [00:12:52] What are you wanting and is there something that you could pre get commit to or something that would burn the bridges to the past so that you have to follow through with it? I personally believe the reason I became successful in my business is because I had no choice. [00:13:15] There was no plan B, there was no plan B. It was just, it has to figure it out, it just has to be done. [00:13:23] So I figured it out. If I'd had a plan B and a plan C and a plan D probably wouldn't have bothered doing anything, I would have said, oh, this is difficult. This is hard. I don't like it. [00:13:36] The more comfortable we are with our current life, the more we'll just carry on with it. Because we love comfort. But if it's not the life you want to have, if you're not where you want to be, and if it's not going to get you where you want to go, then what are you gonna do about it? [00:13:58] So these are some thoughts as I prepare to go on this little pilgrimage. [00:14:04] Pilgrimage the Return I wouldn't say I'm going home. It'll be interesting if I feel like I've come home. Actually, I don't think I will because I always felt a bit strange in England. But I might. You know, I will soon discover whatever is going on for myself, and I look forward to sharing with you how I feel going back to the exact same spot 18 years later, and how I feel when I return back to my home in America in the mountains.
