[00:00:01] Welcome to your Wish Fulfilled, the magical podcast that helps you create the life you want with ease and joy. [00:00:20] In this session, I want to share with you about Happiness Kryptonite. [00:00:27] What is it that actually holds us back from getting what we want and feeling good? [00:00:35] Because if we want to have a different life and we want to feel different, we need to also understand what is sabotaging that possibility. What is holding us back? [00:00:52] What is in the way? What is draining your energy and making it very hard for you to naturally manifest what you want. [00:01:04] Think of it this way. If there were no blocks to your manifestation, they would just immediately appear. [00:01:14] There are certain processes or systems or ideas or beliefs or habits that are blocking you from getting what you want. [00:01:30] So what are those things? [00:01:32] I call it Happiness Kryptonite because I wrote a book about this a long time ago. It's one of my hidden books. [00:01:42] And in essence, I'm not going to share the whole book with you. But in essence, what I noticed, the reason I wrote this is that it was New Year's Day, and I'd been helping people figure out their New Year's intentions. [00:02:05] And what I'd noticed is that many people had written things like, in this year, I want to stop smoking. I want to stop eating the wrong food. I want to stop doing this bad thing. [00:02:28] Some intentions are, I want to create something new. [00:02:33] And I encourage people to think about what they wish to create rather than what they want to not do. But nonetheless, in the world, I did some research on this. Most people actually want to stop doing things. [00:02:49] There's something in the way of getting what you want, and we all have some version of this, because if there were no blocks, we would already have achieved whatever we want right now. So there's something in the way for all of us in different forms. It could be very subtle for some people, very, very subtle internal thought patterns that they're not aware of, or even energy behind the thoughts. Other people, it's much more, much more obvious. [00:03:22] So I want you to think about this. What do you want to manifest, to create? [00:03:27] Take a moment to tune into that. [00:03:53] Hopefully you have experienced something. I notice sometimes I go blank when I think about this, because even though I know what I want, I'm also surrendered to the highest good. So if something better than what I can imagine is supposed to happen, then that's great. [00:04:10] But we have a general direction, right? [00:04:14] So what do you want? [00:04:19] And now the big question is, what is holding you back from getting that? [00:04:45] There's normally one or two main things I learned this from a spiritual teacher in India many years ago. [00:04:55] And what she said is that most people have one or two sanskaras, which means tendencies or habits that are the main cause of their problems. [00:05:11] So it could be one person is very fearful, and that that fear is manifesting itself in many situations. Emotionally, mentally. It's stopping them doing things, right. Somebody else might be very indulgent, right? They consume too much, they eat too much, they drink too much, they sleep too much, they. Everything's excessive, and that's the cause of the health problems, and that's what's stopping them doing the work they need to do or getting some other thing right. So there's normally an internal state that is manifesting itself externally, and that is our Kryptonite happiness. Kryptonite is, of course, referencing Superman. [00:06:00] Superman has magic powers, superpowers, right? [00:06:04] But when he's exposed to kryptonite, which is the stone of his original planet, supposedly, then he loses all his powers and he's just unable to do all this stuff that he wants to do, like he becomes an ordinary person. [00:06:21] We are all extraordinary super beings, but the Kryptonite is ruining our life. [00:06:34] It's reducing the potency that we would otherwise have. [00:06:40] It could be things like looking outside of ourselves for nourishment in various people or situations or entertainment. [00:06:54] So some of these things might manifest themselves as bad habits, but there's an internal, subtle cause of all of those things arising. [00:07:08] So tune into this for yourself. [00:07:12] What is the kryptonite? The habit, the thought pattern that is blocking you or holding you back or limiting you from your freedom. [00:07:47] One of the things that that was a problem for me, it's not anymore, thank goodness, but is because I tend to do a lot of work online. Because I've been doing online business for years and years, I would find myself doing some technical stuff that I don't like that is necessary. I try and outsource as much of it as I can, but there's still a few things left. [00:08:20] And I would find myself preferring to, you know, check some interesting thing on the Internet that was more interesting than my work because I wasn't enjoying it. [00:08:35] You know, I don't really want to do this technical stuff. I'm just going to watch this one video real quick. It's nothing bad. It's just an interesting video. [00:08:47] But that tendency to distract myself from my feelings by some escape basically was holding me back. [00:09:04] So I had to just totally give all of it up completely. [00:09:08] And I feel great. Hooray. [00:09:12] But that was a major issue, right? And then underneath that issue is the fact that we all need people. [00:09:22] But then again, people are imperfect. We all are, right? So we can't rely on anyone. 100 because people have bad days, they aren't available, right? So on one hand, we all need each other, which is perfectly legitimate and wonderful thing to be connecting with everyone. [00:09:43] And if we have high expectations of people emotionally, we can get let down and upset and then we end up in a unpleasant state. So another thing I had to realize is that I need to connect with a source of divine energy to fill me up so that I feel at peace and love and light and content in my being. [00:10:10] So that then I can have relationships and give to others and enjoy being with people without being needy of others. [00:10:19] In other words, how to be in relationship and also sovereign and at peace. [00:10:27] That's actually a very high level thing to do. It's not an easy thing. [00:10:33] We do need each other. No person can live on their own. If you take a individual and you put them on completely on their own without any technology or without anything, they're going to die rather quickly. [00:10:47] Our existence depends on other people, literally. [00:10:53] So we need physical people. We need everything, right? We're connected to this bigger reality of nature and of society and the world and it's got all its problems. But we are all connected to everything. We connect to everything in the universe and how can we engage with it? With a sense of fullness and internal mastery and connection to a source of unlimited power and love. [00:11:26] So these are just some of the things that I personally have looked at in my life and I continue to work on. [00:11:36] Think about yourself. [00:11:39] What are the things? [00:11:41] Or the thing could just be one thing that is holding you back from your power. And if you dealt with that thing, if you really just got that thing sorted out, if you change that thing, if you resolve that problem, if you overcame that addiction or that habit, your whole life would magically and profoundly change. [00:12:07] What is that thing? What is it? [00:12:11] What is the thing? [00:12:13] What is holding you back? [00:12:29] If you don't know what it is, ask your friends. [00:12:34] Sometimes we can't see ourselves, but it's really obvious to everybody else. [00:12:42] That's such a bizarre thing. In life. We look at other people, we can say, oh my God, if only they did this one thing, everything would be better. But they just can't see it. They don't agree, they don't believe it. [00:12:53] But it's good for us to be able to see our own stuff. We shouldn't have to ask other people. But if you need to ask somebody else, you can always ask people, what are your strengths? What are your weaknesses? What's holding you back? [00:13:07] They'll be honest. And if you ask 5, 10 people and they all basically say the same thing, then there must be a reason for it. [00:13:16] So first thing is to figure out what that is. [00:13:20] You might already know. Now, you might not know, but either way, that needs to be clear to us that this is a genuine problem. This is the kryptonite. This is horrible. Holding me back from my freedom. This thing here is wrecking my life and it needs to change. [00:13:40] That is extremely important to know, because when that thing is cleared out of your life, out of your mind and heart, your body, your awareness, it's like this massive block that has been blocking the flow of the river. It's like being blocked and all of a sudden it becomes freed to flow into your life this massive. [00:14:43] So let's not even talk about what happens next in any detail. What happens next, in essence, is miracles. Miracles will happen after you clear that out. Miracles, literally miracles will happen. [00:15:00] The question is, are you willing to do whatever it takes to clear this out, to get this out of your life? [00:15:18] Are you willing to do whatever, whatever it takes to clear this out of your life, to overcome this block, this obstacle, this habit, whatever it is? [00:15:33] Are you willing to go to any length necessary to deal with this? [00:15:39] Because if you are, then you will deal with it and it will be cleared and it will be finished in a fairly short amount of time. [00:15:49] And if you are not, then you are fooling yourself, right? [00:16:02] You're going to be stuck. That's what it means. You're locking yourself in a box and trapping yourself. [00:16:15] These things that we're dealing with are often very, very deep. [00:16:21] That's why they're the main thing, the main one or two things that's holding us back, they're deep things. This goes back a long, long, long way, right? Connected to traumas and habits and bad experiences. And it goes back a long, long, long way, way beyond what we're aware. [00:16:39] So it's going to need everything you've got to be all you are. You need to do whatever is necessary, whatever extreme lengths are required, whatever humbling, whatever humble experience is needed. We normally say, oh, I'll do it. [00:17:03] As long as it's not unpleasant. [00:17:05] Oh, I'll do a little bit. Under these circumstances, under these conditions. Do you see what I mean? We have these. [00:17:12] These very kind of lame conditions. Oh. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, I'LL do what I need to do, but only if it's pleasant and it doesn't interfere with my habits and it doesn't get in the way of this and get in the way. But this is the thing that's wrecking your life. This is holding you back. This is the cause of all your misery. [00:17:34] Oh, I'll get rid of it maybe. If only. [00:17:38] What I realized myself is that extreme lengths are often necessary to really deal with things. Like if someone has like for example, a major eating disorder and they haven't been able to overcome it, then there needs to be a different method, a method that hasn't yet been tried, a more extreme method to overcome it. There is a method. I don't know what the method is, but there is a method. There's going to be a situation where it's impossible to act out in a certain way and that if, if someone's in that situation long enough, then they will reprogram themselves and get out of the situation. [00:18:27] We have to be willing to put ourselves in situations where whatever's holding us back is basically impossible to happen. [00:18:46] So for example, let's say someone eats too much junk food and they know it's bad for them and they're eating too much and it's wrecking their life, right? [00:18:55] Too much. Whatever food they don't feel good about could be cheese or it could be bread or whatever, right? [00:19:04] Fried, whatever. [00:19:07] And if they're getting sick or they haven't eats whatever it is, right? [00:19:14] They've tried everything themselves and it just nothing's happened. They still eat the same stuff, do the same thing. So nothing's changed. Years and years and years, nothing's changed. [00:19:24] What's going to be necessary to turn that around? [00:19:33] I don't know. [00:19:34] But I do know that accountability, having the right people, right? Situation. [00:19:45] 12 step groups exist for a reason, because they offer accountability and support and camaraderie, right? So if you have an addiction of some kind, joining some 12 step group is very, very good idea because it's about surrendering your will to a power greater than yourself. Because if we could have done it ourselves, then obviously we will have done it. So we need help from some other source which could be other people in a group, right? [00:20:26] There's no shortcuts to this stuff. [00:20:31] If someone is very egotistical and they're very arrogant and they keep annoying everyone, what are they going to need to do to stop that habit and to become more sweet and humble, right? It's going to be a process, isn't it they're going to have to be in a situation where they continuously get humbled. Maybe they could, you know, be a waiter or something and serve people with great humility who are constantly complaining about them every evening, you know, and until they get battered down. I'm just giving ridiculous examples here, but I don't know what your situation. I don't know what you need to do. [00:21:09] All I'm saying is if you want to become the highest version of yourself and if you want to experience miracles and wonders and manifestation, have a great life. And there's this thing that's holding you back that's actually wrecking your life and making it impossible for you to move on. [00:21:29] It needs to be addressed very honestly and very seriously. Otherwise it's never going to get right resolved. [00:21:38] These things don't just go away on their own. [00:21:48] I don't mean to be heavy with you today, but this has to be looked at. [00:21:56] So I'll leave you with that. I'm sending you love and blessings. Think about this very deeply. What is holding you back and what is really and honestly necessary for you to get help? If you don't know, you can ask someone. You can even use AI to ask. I've got this problem. What are all my options? And you'll come up with loads of options. [00:22:17] Just pick one and make and get on with it. [00:22:20] Because you will feel profoundly liberated and you'll have an amazing life once you clear this thing out of the way. And I know you can, because you're a great soul. [00:22:31] So sending you lots of love. It is done. It is done. It is done. Thank you for being here. [00:22:37] Many, many blessings.
